There was so much shared, that is critical to the way in which we do our work, and I’m always thinking about how our communities “other” people. 

WHEN INTERSECTIONALITY AND CULTURAL COMPETENCY BACKFIRE

How naïve I am to not see or know until after everything is said and done that as a minority (woman) how much I am doing to get recognized. I plan to see what I am not seeing. 

MUSIC AS A TOOL FOR HEALING AND EMPOWERMENT

Very fun and interesting presentation. I think the presenter was knowledgeable and entertaining. She showed in a clear manner how music can help in a broad variety of situations. I liked the out-of-the-box thinking.
